Aside from the manufacture of high-end cars, however, it’s also carved a mark in the fast world of speed. Back in 1938, the company partnered with Ferdinand Porsche and designed the beast called the Auto Union Type C, the fastest track car with a 560 horsepower and run at 430 kmph on the Autobahn.

Audi’s Quattro won the driver’s championship in 1983 and 84 and the Pikes Peak Hill Climb from 1982-87 which paved the way for the entry of all four-wheel drive cars into the World Rally Championship.

Audi holds 13 championship titles for the Le Mans, the world’s oldest active sports car race in endurance racing. They also developed the fully autonomous car named “Shelly” to scale the tough and dangerous Pikes Peak mountain and clocked at just 19mins short of the current world’s record-holder.

5. The 2015 S8 Talladega by MTM

This super speedy automobile dashes to 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds and the top speed is rated at 350 km/h (218 mph), thanks to the Quattro all-wheel-drive system that competently handles all its sounds.

In 1986, an Audi 5000 CS Turbo set a one-lap closed track speed record at the Talladega Speedway with a top speed of 219 mph. Years later, the German aftermarket specialists MTM created the S8 “Talladega” with more than 760HP. The S8 Talladega celebrates the triumph of Bobby Unser who hit the top speed of more than 219 mph (350 km/h), while driving an Audi 5000 CS Turbo around the oval track of the Talladega Speedway in Alabama in 1986.

This limited-edition of S8 Talladega with only 25 variants accessible for purchase, was made public by German tuner MTM. It is characterized by a power upgrade to 559 kW and 697 lb-ft (945 Nm), and have undergone modifications that include an increase in torque and engine output. The speed is aided by the MTM M-Cantronic and V-Cantronic engine control units, larger turbocharger and MTM 4-pipe stainless steel exhaust system. It also characterized with a length of 5136 mm, a width of 76.7 and a height of 57.5.

4. 2000 Rosemeyer Concept

The Rosemeyer Concept created in June 2000 at Autostadt in Wolfsburg, Germany was manufactured to erect a mental picture of its hi-tech proficiency and create an archetypal blend of modern technology with a racing legacy. It was enthused by the 1930s Auto Unions.

The Rosemeyer Concept which features a 16-cylinder mid-engine and the Quattro permanent four-wheel drive was named after Bernd Rosemeyer, to pay special tribute to him. Rosemeyer drove the “Silver Arrows” and made it a phenomenon. But he regrettably died at the young age of 28 behind the wheel of an Auto Union Streamline in an Auto Union Streamliner in 1938. And when the 2000 Rosemeyer Concept was officially released, the creators declared:

“It spans the gap between past and present, between tradition and vision, and continues the line from the past to the present of the brand, its philosophy, and its design culture, and on into the future.

But beyond tradition and heritage, the brand’s contemporary design beliefs are noticeably defined to outline its domed roof, accurately curved wheel arch cutouts and high waistline. And with a speed of 350 kph/217 mph and a weight of 1607 kg, this beauty is designed with a pair of cameras rather than conventional side mirrors and with an enormous radiator grille, and a long engine cover falling away to the rear, with its vertical air inlet slots, both similar to the historic Auto Union “Silver Arrow” racing car.

And as for the interior, Adrian Padeanu asserts, the $3000,000 automobile is gracefully adorned with the lovely open-gated six-speed manual gearbox in charge of delivering the immense power to both axles. It also featured modifiable pedals and a pair of body-hugging bucket seats enveloped around in fire-resistant upholstery.

3. 2011 Audi R8 V10 MTM Biturbo

This prototype vehicle called Audi R8 V10 BiTurbo which was developed into a full-fledged tuning package uses the same 5.0L V10 engine used on RS6 Clubsport for this model. The R8 V10 BiTurbo has the ability to speed from 0 to 60 mph in 3.0 seconds, from 0 to 124 in 9.37 seconds, and will hit a top speed of 350kph/217 mph all thanks to the proficiency of its 777 hp and 888 NM torque.

The vehicle has an adaptable rear spoiler, a front lip, MTM Bimoto 20 inch forged rims with a superbly leathered interior on the inside. And this alluring and outstanding creation goes for $480,000 is absolutely changed in a special procedure and the aluminum chassis was polished in more than seven hundred working hours, which completely handmade.

MTM press reports that the test took off on the rapid track in Nardo in South Italy in September last year and the result showed that the car can be moved in a sporty way weather under extreme conditions, full load drives or extreme temperatures. The automobile uses a coil over kit with adjustable suspensions, 20″ forged rims in the Bimoto design and MTM brakes 380 x 34 mm dimpled with 8-piston calipers at the front and rear axle.

No doubt, the design is exceptionally different. The paint of the R8 was totally detached and highly polished in over 700 working hours. The internal part of the car was decked with leather that shows that MTM Individual has a great and faultless design.

2. 2015 RS6 DTM Stertman Motorsport & Caresto

Occupying the second position is one of the most powerful and racy RS6 DTM Stationwagon better called the RS6 of ‘unbeatable lunacy’ that is because it is owned by a certified car freak and blogger, Jon Olsson. He has done bizarre things with automobiles, some of which include a modified GT-R, AudiR8, Murcielago SV, a Le MansStyle prototype race car, including a Lamborghini Gallardo.

This extraordinary vehicle weighs 4299 lbs with a power of 1068bhp, sprints at 350kph and it is intended to be used as a daily driver.

As reported, it took 56 Nord over a year to make and handily boosts the RS6’s 565-liter boot space by gulping down the heaviest pair of powder skis in the market.

“I have always loved the crazy wide body style of the DTM cars,” Jon said during the presentation the car, “and it’s been a dream to build a similar car for the road.”

In 2015, Gumball 3000 Rally, once again, drew together all kinds of wild cars to its starting line and amongst them was the creation belonging to Jon Olsson.

When his team of designers and mechanics finished working on the car, it looked absolutely out of this world. There is a weird wrap on it and with a unique luggage case on the roof and the body kit is very attractive and fascinating.

Everything about the car was inspired by the RS5 car that raced in the DTM. Of course, it’s just a diffuser but it definitely feels like it’s something else.

The entire thing was made by Caresto and, most apparently, it is made up of carbon fiber which exclusively adds as little weight as possible. This masterpiece goes for a whopping sum of $400,000.

1. 2007 TT MTM Bimoto

And the number one fastest Audi is none other than the sleek and dazzling MTM Bimoto, it makes the number one position as the fastest. This highly extraordinary German machine produced by MTM was developed by the TT bimoto in only 50 work-hours.

The MTM TT Bimoto, is equipped with two four-cylinder turbo-engine, sprints a top speed of 393km/h, and pioneered an official record for top speed on the test track in Papenburg.

The MTM Bimoto has two engines and two transmissions. Both in front and rear every transmission is driven by its own 1.8 I four-cylinder turbo engine. The engines in the rear and in front go in motion without help. The power which is the link between the two engines power comes from the street. Loading air, oil and water cooler, clutch and a second petrol pump, everything exits twice. Air not needed is lead back to the aerodynamic formed parts below the body and should especially at high speed improve the drive and it is supported by a diffuser. A marked carbon lip at the MTM tail wing supports this end product, too. The project double engine vehicle is incredible but for a firm with the power of MTM that is not adequate. Both engines will be far away concerning the performance output compared to the series and reliably and also everyday life-suited 740 HP, thus 370 H for each engine, are the least.

The maximum two passengers are separated from the second drive unit in the rear by a detachment made of carbon including a rear window. And almost all the component is doubled like the front one. Likewise, there is a manual six gear transmission installed on the opposite of the driven direction which is driven by a 1.8 I cylinder in almost the same axis as the front part. To make power shifts possible, double-clutches-transmissions will be obstructed in the nearest future. A welded cage stabilizes the complete car and includes both aggregates.

This amazing automobile most definitely ensures that every purchaser is impacted by the technological know-how of this German machine.

Even 501 HP per four-cylinder is possible, which will be reached by capacity enlargement to 2 liters, big turboloaders and working on the periphery. However, the customer should have the choice to decide on performance variant respectively deployment purpose of the vehicle. The objective is to ensure the car has a handling, is always quantifiable. And ascertain that it will not surprise the driver with a change between under- and overriding but rather show the tendency to override.

In Wettstetten, the standard sensors for the ABS system were used. The monitoring of the number of revolutions at all four wheels allows, with the help of the engine-electronic, an exact invasion to the handling of the bimoto. For instance, with slip at the front axle performance will be taken back from the front four-cylinder to avoid under riding. in the same way to that traction troubles and powerful influences of the driven front axle to the steering will be avoided.

The front forged 19 M-light metal rims a Brembo braking system is installed. Ventilated disc brakes, 32 millimeters strong and 355 millimeters in the diameter are taken there by a four-piston caliper into the pliers.

The price of this fantastic automobile is $820,000.
